The energetic importance of the spleen/pancreas

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the spleen and pancreas are regarded as a functional unit and form the organic basis of the spleen/pancreas meridian. While the spleen in conventional medicine is mainly seen as an organ of the lymphatic system within the body’s own immune defence, in TCM it is also closely connected to the metabolism and the digestive system and plays a central role here. In addition to the breakdown and phagocytosis of defective or overaged blood cells, microorganisms and immune complexes, the antigen-induced differentiation of B and T lymphocytes takes place in the spleen.

According to TCM, the spleen is responsible for converting the ingested food into Qi (energy) and blood and thus produces part of the postnatal energy. It is connected to the “middle” (the sum of all digestive processes), the intake, splitting, absorption and distribution of food in the body and the element earth. Disharmonies in this area lead to indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhoea, nausea and a feeling of fullness. Around three quarters of all illnesses in TCM can be traced back to a weakness in the “middle”. “Spleen-Qi stagnation” is caused by improper diet (too much cold food, sweets, bread, dairy products, etc.) associated with accumulation of “dampness”. In the long term, this accumulation of energy leads to chronic diseases and tumours.

In TCM, the same energy that is in an organ is also expressed in corresponding emotions. Worry, brooding and melancholy are associated with the spleen/pancreas complex. People with high spleen energy are described as balanced, settled, confident, sociable, and content, while those with a weak spleen express worry, low self-esteem, and constant rumination. Old thought patterns often cannot be properly “digested” and let go. In Ayurvedic medicine, the pancreas is the endocrine gland associated with the third chakra, the solar plexus chakra. Here, too, it is about digestion in the material and immaterial sense, letting go, one’s own value system (“What is valuable to me?”) and self-esteem. Many of our patients have a blockage in the third chakra.

The treatment of the spleen and pancreas is therefore also of central importance in BICOM bioresonance for the therapy of chronic diseases and for prevention. In addition to the following programs, appropriate nutritional recommendations, such as taking hot food and drinks and avoiding cold food, sweets, dairy products, bread meals, etc. are useful and advisable.

Programs for the spleen/pancreas unit

  • 300.2 Spleen/pancreas treatment, acute
  • 301.8 Spleen/pancreas treatment, chronic
  • 3260.0* Spleen/pancreas 1st recommendation
  • 3261.0* Spleen/pancreas 2nd recommendation
  • 535.3 Spleen disease 1st program
  • 429.0 Spleen disease 2nd program

With all of these programs, which you will find already stored in your BICOM Optima, you can add information from the spleen and pancreas to the second channel by either selecting the appropriate substance complexes or using the

  • “Spleen” and/or “Pancreas” ampoule from the CTT test kit “5 functional circuits (5 elements)”,
  • “Spleen” ampoule from the CTT “Degenerate Cells II/Immunology” test kit,
  • “Pancreas” ampoule from the CTT “Hormone test kit”.

The new STT “Pancreas” test kit contains ampoules with information about the pancreas that can be tested with an A program (192.0) while the ampoules to be tested are in the input cup one after the other. If there is resonance, the appropriately tested ampoule or ampoules can be treated either with program 192.0 (test time and amplification) or 198.0 (test time) or with program 10327.** However, the ampoules can also be used after testing in the second channel while one of the programs mentioned above or below is running.

* only included in the BICOM optima device B32/B34, or BICOM optima Mobil BM34

** and in extension module 1

In the following, we would like to present two more programs that have proven themselves, but still have to be saved in your device under their own number.

Compensate for Spleen Qi deficiency: element earth (emotion: worry, brooding, nostalgia, melancholy)

H+Di, normal frequency range, bandpass sweep, sweep speed 220 sec., amplification increase, H 7.0, Di 2.0, time/step: 30 sec., wobbling = no, interval = no, therapy time = 4 min.

  • Input cup: saliva or blood
  • Input: spleen
  • Output: modulation mat
  • In channel 2: “Earth”/”Spleen”/”Pancreas” ampoule (see recommendation above) or homeopathic remedies such as Calcium carbonicum or Bach flowers after testing

Blockage pancreas / 3rd chakra

H+Di, low deep range, bandpass sweep, sweep speed 240 sec., sym. sweep, Di = 2.0, sweep speed = 25 sec., interval = no, therapy time = 12 min.

  • Input cup: blood
  • Input: ball electrodes in both hands
  • Output: modulation mat, magnetic depth probe or power applicator on chakra/gland

Suggestions for the second channel (after testing): substance complexes (endocrine system: diabetes; metabolism: hyperacidity; gastrointestinal pancreas: pancreas autoimmune, pancreas secretion weakness, etc.). Ampoules from the CTT test kit “Bach flowers and chakras” such as

  • “Solar Plexus Chakra”,
  • “Yellow” and/or
  • “Citrine” or after testing in the second channel can also be used for chakra therapy.
