Lymphangiology covers the vessels, lymphadenology the nodes, tonsils, spleen, thymus, Peyer’s patches and bone marrow. This paper sets out the structure and function of the lymph system and what determines drainage, then follows a difficult tooth root resection where kidney programmes, low deep frequency lymph work and manual drainage returned sensation to the patient’s lip.
